With the colder weather settling in, there's nothing better than a hearty, comforting meal, and our new Beef & Mushroom Gnocchi looks like it fits the bill perfectly.
Tender slow-braised beef, soft potato gnocchi, sautéed mushrooms and spinach, all tossed in a rich mushroom-thyme brandy sauce and finished with Parmesan cheese.
I'm particularly excited about this one because it's something a little different from our traditional Smitty's favourites, while still delivering the kind of comfort food we're known for.

Food was really good and prompt service.
This is definitely the best place to have brunch. Unlike Dennys they have real omelets (Dennys adds water). The bacon actually comes crispy and the hash browns are great. I also have gone into the lounge area after shopping for hours and always ordered the steak sandwich. It's the best ever, especially for the price. Tender steak, best garlic bread ever and always fresh steamed vegetables.
Great quality Canadian breakfast! Quick service on a Sunday, no line up! Food was good and lots of selection available for breakfast.
Service was great, very family friendly, food was good out in a timely manner. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Went here with the wife for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. We tried the Salted Saddle and the Chicken and Brie sandwhich and I gotta say these items have GOT to stay on the menu. The drinks were very good but dear readers.. the chicken and brie sandwhich is something special. We both agreed it was actually one of the best we have had in the city. A bit pricey but the brie slice sizes more than makes up for it, couldn't even wait to eat half before snapping a photo. Our server Nila was an absolute gem, she really warms the place up and her interactions with us and the other customers felt so welcoming. She deserves praise as well.
Jane was extremely professional and sweet. My cup of coffee never was half and my breakfast 🍳 came just the way I wanted. Thank you Jane You are the best. We are coming back 👍.
Our first time going to this restaurant was great workers were friendly greeted us food was great and cheaper than IHOP 😁 went there for breakfast and there is also farmers sausage too that was delicious gotta try it
Barb was our server today as well as the last time we were here. A good part of the reason we are back is because of Barb. She is personable, and prompt with her service, and creates comfort in the experience. We enjoy her humor and the feeling like we are at a friends house who knows just what we need.
